After having another good week, I am now feeling very low again. Just longing that things would improve permanently.

Hi mate, have you read my blog below yours,do you know of any groups near you.Too many of us are stuck at home alone and that is a big issue.Find a group,I cannot believe the instant change in me just through talking, try it,take care.

GrayEm I know how you feel, I had a very good day tuesday and then this morning woke up really black and anxious all day. I wonder if its food or something I do, on the phone too long or on the computer or other activties. maybe i push a little beyond the stress level, or is it something to do with sleep, waking up in the morning is when it seems to happen. Hang on and take advantage of the good days maybe they will come more often. You know you are not alone, although it can feel that way someimes. love to you from cotonroad

Apart from my meeting yesterday, the one thing I did differently was drink a lot less coffee and only drank warm milk after 7.Dont know if that made any difference but I felt calmer and slept much better.

I know how you feel babe I posted about this the other day im now on day 3 of feeling good now I don't know whether its because I quit smoking same day or what I know sounds strange but a lot of my panic attacks happened after or during a cigarette just take the good days and when the bad days come you will get by xxx

Not strange,I quit new years day, cold turkey no problem until three weeks ago, panic attack, the worst chest infection ever,my opinion and my doctors, due to quitting.A friend of mine started with anxiety 6 months after quitting, every time she went in a pub it reminded her of smoking. All those chemicals must play havoc with our bodies,so glad I quit but 26 years worth of smoke to get rid of bound to be some issues, still £50 a week better off,get some tablets!!

Thanks for all your helpful comments. I am feeling a bit better already!

Smoking in the first instant calms down the brain , then you get to needing them.

So giving up smoking will make you feel uneasy , best thing to do is think why you did start to smoke in the first place and take it from there.

A good idea not to drink coffee get the nerves on edge, us we have to take the path to keep calm help our nervous system the best we can , we are sensitive people so have to do best for ourselves , so best food for nerve function.

Best tablets for the nervous system. and lots of rest .

Go to bed early , our nervous system needs care and we live at such a fast pace we have to slow down when we can and that mean dont overload our head on too much late at night , watch the animal kingdom how they rest , and if a bit tired sleep.

May sound odd all this but that is how I cope.

look out for groups, look up the Mindfulness , lot of good to talk in a group with other , it teaches you so much.

Our nerves can send out such strange and feeling that scare us , and its gets into a circle with our adrenalin so we are in effect causing our own body to react to the old fight or flight that is within us .

I hope this helps . B
