Oh no hunny your ok. In just scared in general. The results came back today. My husband is waiting for his and he has all of the symptoms. What about you??

Christmas my Husband tested positive. with showing the symptoms. Then my daughter and I day after boxing day.

Battled through excruciating aches pains, paracetamol eased that, slight headache, tummy upset then this weakness when we walk to the bathroom, that tires you and you get a little breathless, which brings on a cough. When i lie back down in bed it all settles. I’m sleeping all the time.

Have you got support outside of your family, that can drop things off for you.

Yes! Right now I have headache, aches just feeling unwell.

Yes fortunately I do. I’m waiting on some things as we speak. Any foods that helped?

plenty water, paracetamol every four hours.

I got eggs in to make scrabbled eggs. Bread for toast. I cannot eat large meals at the moment. Soup, grapes and crackers to pick at. Doesn’t sound healthy I know, but who cares for now, as long as we are getting something down us. You don’t seem to have the energy to cook from fresh or the appetite.

Sleep and rest lots.. difficult for you with babies bless you.

Keep in touch let me know how you are all doing.

This will be a long one, but I have seen this message several times recently. A nurse was asked by a patient how to take care of herself at home and the following is a list of her reply to that patient: Rx's Azithromycin 250 mg. and Dexamethason 6 mg. Sleep on your stomach at all times, or on your side. Do not lie on your back because that increases fluids to set into your lungs. Set clock to wake you every 2 hours, get up and walk for 15 - 30 minutes, no matter how tired or weak, and move your arms around to help open your lungs. Breathe in thru your nose, and out thru the mouth, to help lower the chance of pneumonia. In a recliner, sit up straight to keep fluids moving, and get up and move during commercials. Eat at least 1-2 eggs per day, bananas, avocado, asparagus for potassium. Drink Pedialyte, Gatorade Zero, Powerade Zero and water. Do not drink anything cold, use room temp or warm. Water with lemon, honey, peppermint tea, apple cider for fluids. No milk products or pork. Vitamins D3, C, B. Zinc, Probiotic, One-a Day. Tylenol for fever, Mucinex DM for drainage, Pepcid, baby aspirin. Drink smoothies of bluberries, strawberries, bananas, honey, tea, and peanut butter. Best wishes to all who are suffering with this illness.
