due to anxiety am unable to have a social life. i dont have any friends. it is affecting my school life . i have diffcults at school when it comes to talkin in front of others.

beleive me you are not alone, I would suggest start small join a club, society or do something you enjoy does not matter what as the important thing is once got over pressure of joining find by fact say club for runners or whatever there is already common ground which helps to break the ice There are many people out there who feel the same as you and I can guarentee there will be some at your school. It is hard as lots of hormone issues too but please speak to somebody about your concenrs there are lost of people who can help.Do not suffer in silence
Hi Truegal. I agree with southglos. Do you have any hobbies where maybe you could join a club? I felt the same at school but signed up to badminton classes as I loved it and I opened up a bit more. I still feel that way now sometimes though. I get really bad stomachs before going out due to anxiety, I don't really like to be with large crowds of people. I keep myself to myself a lot but that's just me.
Don't feel pressured to be how others are. Do what you enjoy, be comfortable with yourself. don't jump in at the deep end, take small steps. Look up some clubs and maybe speak to people on here. Maybe if you have a park or something near you go for a walk on your own and feel confident in yourself before you start to push yourself to feel confident around others.
