hey everyone, So lastnight i decided to go out for a few drinks with a friend. Everything was fine at first, but then we left from the location that we were decided to go home while he's on his way to drop me home I feel a panic attack coming in but strong. I felt like I couldn't breathe and my heart was just racing. I told him stop the car. He doesn't know what's going on. He goes your al right. I said I think I was having a panic attack. I'm like my heart is racing but really fast. I might have to go to the hospital. He tells me no if it's a panic attack , please breathe close your eyes and relax you need to learn how to control it, do not let it take over your body. I have them too sometimes he said, I said really I'm sorry but I just don't like people in my business and I didn't have a panic attack in years. I don't know why the panic attack just hit me out of nowhere i said and he said you're not going to the hospital , just go home. Take a shower and relax, but I have a question. Do you shake when you have a panic attack like a nervousness?
Have'nt had a panic attacks in a long time... - Anxiety Support
Have'nt had a panic attacks in a long time but when it attacked it hit me hard for some reason.
Johnnie1234, how are you feeling today? First of all let me tell you that shakiness
does come into play when having a Panic Attack. After all the adrenaline is at a peak.
Alcohol may have played a big part in prompting it along with dehydration.
By not jumping on the "fear wagon" with you, hopefully your friend was able to
bring your fears down a notch. It takes someone who has experienced it as well
to see the signs of fear out of control. This time I say that your friend did you a
favor by keeping you out of the ER and into a more controlled environment with
him by your side. He did good. You did good. It's always good to see you back but
not in this capacity. Let us know how you feel today and of course as always, if any
doubts, please call your doctor. xx
yes he did and i calm down but now i have in my mind i hope i dont get another panic attack because i havent felt that in a long time but when the panic attack reached it was really strong and powerful trying to take over my body all i kept thinking about at the moment telling him take me the ER but he said no breath relax
Those Panic Attacks can be rough I will admit but your friend did the right thing so
as not to escalate the fear in you. I'm glad it passes as they always do but now you
are in Anticipational Anxiety wondering if and when you will have another one.
But you know that worrying about it doesn't help. How have you been doing
otherwise? Working? Feeling good over all?
Keep in contact Johnnie with us and your friend. He's a good influence for you. :)xx
I do shake sometimes when I have a panic attack.
