Hi, I have been taking Duloxetine continuously since 2003. I did try Sertraline but I couldn't function. Seeing my GP at the moment is a nightmare. I am just aware that my anxiety episodes are getting more frequent with no rhyme or reason for them. Have they stopped working? and is it dangerous to be on Duloxetine this long? Hope someone can help

Long term use of Duloxetine
Hi I have been on Sertraline for many years, with no major issues. My anxiety was bad in the last few years and I was given Propranolol. Have you had that? It's for anxiety. Sorry I'm not much help but breathing exercises do make a difference. It's a very lonely place at the height of this, thinking about you. Maybe you need to insist on an appointment with your GP.
Hi I have been on Sertraline for around 10 years due to my GP dropping my dosage of Citalopram from 100mg to 60mg. I decided I needed something that I could increase if I needed to. The Citalopram was reduced due to some legislation or other. Anyway I started on 50, then upped to 100, then 150 over the course of a few months with nothing more than the shakes in the morning for a few weeks. I have recently asked to have the dose increased to 200mg as I feel I need a bit more to help lift my mood. I am waiting to see if I can start HRT again in the hope this would help too. Can you explain how you felt you couldn’t function on Sertraline? I’ve never heard of this before, only with Tricyclics like Amitriptyline etc. I hope you manage to persevere
