I have no physical symptoms present at the moment but for the last 4 days I’ve just had this feeling of doom and dread in the pit of my stomach the most horrible feeling I can’t shake it. Is that normal to have without the actual normal anxiety physical symptoms?

Actually Bmac1009, that is a classic symptom of Anxiety...that's how it starts and then itcan grow unless we stop it before it escalates. That's Anxiety tapping you on the shoulder by saying "excuse me, but I have a load of lies to tell you"
Once we believe in what we feel as being catastrophic, other physical symptoms will take over.
The thing to do is think back as to what may be causes this doom and gloom feeling in the
pit of your stomach. What's happening in your life right now that you may not even
realize you are afraid of?

Hey agora1 thanks so much for the reply I really appreciate it. I’ve just been a bit stressed recently and I’ve dealt with all this before it’s just hard once it comes again! The doom feeling feels like it’s something telling me I’m going to die I really don’t know why and it makes me anxious I’m so afraid of dying so I don’t know if that’s what it eats away at making it worse!! I look at my loved ones and I feel like crying as I feel like I’m going to die and leave them soon 😣😣 I wish I didn’t need to feel like it but I can’t help but let it win sometimes xxx
that is not normal , it comes with anxiety , drink lots of water and keep breathing in and out and if you want to talk to me pm me and follow me and text me
Yes I’ve had this before but even I know I’ve had it before I still believe it time and time again trying on citalopram for my anxiety hoping it helps thanks for your reply x
For those of us who have had anxiety for any length of time I think it can become a habitual mindset until we start gently and diligently reframing and redirecting our thinking. We tend to expect the worst and blow things out of proportion. Becoming aware of our thinking and the negative-bias habit and practicing mindfulness can help with this.
