I wrote something similar to this yesterday. I am still here and I still have come and go chest pain and jaw pain (btw they are not radiating each other, sometimes just jaw pain without chest pain or vice versa) yesterday as I was trying to sleep I felt pressure on my chest I can help but thinking I will be having a heart attack, my stomach is kinda burning too that time so I massage it and Suddenly I fell asleep, and the I woke up in the morning without any pain but not until right now writing this... I'm now resting and No signs right now but earlier while I was sitting my shoulder hurts so bad and again my heart pounds because of me being anxious about it...idk what to do anymore...idk if this is about my anxiety or muscle tension but I'm 20 years old Male not enjoying life because of this.

First of all, I'm sorry that you are experiencing that. And secondly, I have the SAME thing as you described. I am 25 years old and ever since I contracted covid 6 months ago, I have developed health anxiety. I have frequent chest pains, which I swear I feel is a heart attack....bt it turns out to be nothing but my stupid mind playing games. Anxiety can cause physical symptoms like palpitations and chest pain and random aches and pains throughout your body which makes you wonder if something is seriously wrong with you. Are you able to identify any trigger since when these symptoms started?Try calming yourself down, taking deep breaths and getting up and walking around rather than sitting down in one place and freaking out...distraction helps too....watch a tv show, talk to whoever is near you, go to the grocery store.

I can relate to this.I assume you have seen a doctor to just rule out obvious causes.I started down this path 35 years ago...went through every test ...even an angiogram...only to be told nothing physical could explain these pains.Had corticoid injections into each rib joint in my sternum..and over the years have learned how to live with them.

Here's some things that may reassure you...

There are 66 known reasons for chestpain....most are caused by nerve or muscle.

Benign episodes usually happen at rest...cardiac pain usually occurs during exertion.

Viral incidences can affect nerve pathways as well as muscles...vagal tone too.

Things that help....heat...massage...PEMF machines..Tens machines...B_Lasers cold machines.

Foods the replenish nervous tone...are high in magnesium..I used biotissue salt called NERVONE.

Learn deep relaxation....and vagal tone exercises....lastly start taking magnesium...especially taurate...this used mainly by the heart and larger muscle groups...changing your mattress can help spinal/neck issues.Reflux will also produce these issues..especially silent reflux...simple anti acid will pinpoint this as the cause.

Here's the main thing most people never realise....the one mineral that gets used up first when you are tense is magnesium (relaxer)...because only 1% is stored in the circulation..60 % is stored in the bones and 39% in the muscles ..which mean calcium (contracter) gets the upperhand to cause muscles to tighten and spasm. Our modern diet is nothing like it was 100 years ago...you have to look into this if you want free yourself from this issue.

You are too young to have such issues...find the balance in your life...set yourself a new way to health be well.

Not what you're looking for?
