Morning I am so worried last couple of days been having awful palps and missed beats
I do suffer with anxiety but also peri menopausal.
I get these symptoms before period like 10 days before .
Really scaring me
I have so many awful symptoms . Please is that anyone out there feeling the same . Xxx

Couple weeks out of the month I am okish not brilliant but just ok but then bam out of blue I get these horrible heart problems . I recently had a ecg as I had a health check up and nurse recommended a ecg as my heart rate was so high . But as soon as I see a dr or anything medical my heart races . Anyway had the ecg and even when having it my heart was racing so bad . Dr told me two days later it was fine but saying that I didn’t have the skipped beats at the time . I was prescribed vit d as was low 37 I think
I take 25000 liquid once a week for 6 wks
That’s all I was told .
Yet few days ago I was ok
It’s just these last two days

I have tachycardia, I was reaching 165 beats per minute on a daily basis so I have to take betablockers. I also have bowel issues, off the charts anxiety, widespread stiffness, shortness of breath, shaking, sweating. Shall I continue? LolThe only reason I think it's all hormonal is because the day before my period I feel normal, the ONLY day I ever feel normal.
My periods are all over the place, I can go 4 or 5 months without one and then have it every 14-15 days.

So the missed beats or extra beats is called tachycardia? When I had my bp checked month ago . The nurse had to do it 3 times as I was so anxious my heart beat was 130 that’s when she said have a ecg . But all was ok . It defo could be the hormones So how do we stop these
I take diazapam too . Dr offered propranolol but scared to take it x

Yes, oops sorry I didn't recommend it thinking it would make you sad. I recommended it so that you see you're not alone in feeling this. Whenever I get overwhelmed by my symptoms and think that I have some disease, I go there, read all the stories and I calm down x

I been getting the horrible weird beats again and stomach issues . Recently asked for bloods to check everything and all ok apart from low vit d but is better than last year results it’s gone up abit . Had a awful February just gone was on the weirdest period ever . Brown then red then stopped then brown then red again . Stomach playing up . Bloating and gurgling and then the skipped beats etc .. been a nervous wreck . Hormones in the blood tests are showing normal but I know I am going through peri . Feel so rubbish atm . Spoke to dr so many times. Bout all my issues and missed beats and stomach stuff . They offered me a holter 24 one but they called back snd said none available and to have a normal ecg. Bloods were all fine . It’s never ending . I have lost weight too due to no appetite as get bloated and the beats start etc .. anyway how’s u ? Xxx

Sorry you're feeling so off, can't say I'm much better myself. My tachy improved with the bosoprolol but I still get it now and again.
Stomach issues still awful, had some more tests. Positive for SIBO, so I'm starting diet and herbal protocol tomorrow, hoping that will help.
Have they tested you for anything re stomach? Xx

Anxiety and numerous things can cause this to happen none of which are serious
Have you spoken with your Doctor as always good to get a quick check over like blood pressure , testing your chest and they can talk it through with you which helps us when we fear them when they happen as we can remember their words that there is nothing physically wrong
Anxiety can cause so many physical symptoms but always wise to get them checked out and when we get the all clear which normally we do then we can work on our anxiety

Hello :-)That is good then , so you know physically everything is fine
Indigestion and burping can make your heart flutter as well as all the other nasty symptoms that can come with it and of course as we know anxiety causes so many of us to have digestive issues
Try doing some meditation or relaxation exercises , Youtube has so many they do help x
Yeah I was thinking is this to do with my gut health I need to stop drinking coffee too
But even though I had tests done and ecg I still can’t get this out of my head
Thinking should I start a anti depressant for all of this . Xxx

I am coming up to 58 and have suffered all my life with several anxiety problems including digestive issuesI am in the menopause not sure if I am through it or not but I had a heart attack 8 weeks ago which has not helped my anxiety one bit but let me reassure you those tests told them straight away I had a heart attack so if you have had them and they say you are ok then please be reassured and thank your blessings as I wished mine had not come back as they did
I also have struggled all my life yet never used any meds except an odd diazepam but after the heart attack I knew I needed to be on something yet the first time in y life I gave in and asked the Doctor who had been suggesting I take something for my anxiety that now I would try it the answer came back for now I cannot as the medications I am on for my heart it would be to dangerous
So after my experience if I could go through it again I would take something , I would at least give it a go as what have you to loose if they help that is a bonus and if they don't help you can stop them and you haven't lost anything x
I believe im in peri yet tests say not i have been suffering from tachycardia now for 2 years, had all the tests and nothing wrong, I have noticed its worse just before and during period, I also get breathless
Yes agree I seem to get awful anxiety like 10 days before due on and the racing heart and flutters so wondering if it’s all hormones but I want them to stop . Me too had two blood tests for peri but they say they all lok normal but know this isn’t my normal anxiety My gut bothers me too

I don’t even know where to start. I am 46 and have been suffering almost 4 years. Now I am full blown menopause. I have had the craziest symptoms. It started with my heart racing and jumping every morning for about 4 months. Went to a cardiologist who told me my heart is skipping but it is benign pvc’s. Next my eyes twitched for about 5 months all day every day. That finally passed now I get dizziness all the time out of nowhere and for almost a year a time I am standing I feel like I am swaying. Never suffered like this before I started going through my changes. When my period was stopping I would get optical migraines with an aura. It’s the craziest thing how I am feeling!!!! My husband thinks I’m nuts . Ugh

I too get the off balance feeling and weird eyes like I am drunk and the unsteady feeling but latest as said is not the actually heart racing but it’s the weird beats that get me everytime and ruins whole day and scared to do anything

I had my levels checked twice in 6 months and Drs just said “all they can say is u could be in the early stages as I am still bleeding but never on time ! I also noticed I am getting awful pms or pmdd or watever it’s called like 10 days before period due as starting to suss it out
My life is awful atm and now this bloody heart thing . I had ecg omg that was soo scary . My heart was pounding at the time as the ecg was going but two days later told it was fine . But still don’t feel reassured as Drs arnt the greatest at this . They offered me propranolol but scared to take them due to my HA xxx just want to wake up and be normal and happy xxx

Forgot to add I have awful stomach issues now Like bloated wind burping the lot plus when I eat and drink I feel I get the palps more so not sure if this is the cause or it’s just my anxiety (sorry was meant to add that in ) xxx
Omg you sound like me, last year was my worst, racing heart, muscle twitching , heavy arms and legs, drunk feeling constantly, bloating, burping, pins n needles, and so on, had nearly every part of my body examined and nothing coming back, alot better now but still tachycardia, daily , over it just want to feel normal again, im 45, all started dec 2018 with fatigue and progressed from there.

Just want it to stop . I can cope with the fast beats as kinda got used to it but the missed beats scare the crap out of mee
I am it’s got something to do with stomach as my sternum like bottom of it and surround stomach is all tender !!!!!
Im not too bad now compared to last year, I still suffer tachycardia some days but just try to ignore now, I do get tired and achy from time to time and still breathless around period, I just put it down to changing hormones now, I do have underactive thyroid but these symptoms were not that as been medicated for years with no problems, it was like I had a huge hormonal shift that lasted 2 years nearly, but can actually function now, compared to last year, feel like a hypochondriac going to and from doct, but something was definitely not right, just deal with day by day now.
I also had bloating and pressure around sternum for months, had an endoscopy which was all fine
Omg I have your exact symptoms. It was like I was reading about myself. I am 43
I am full blown menopause haven’t had a period since January 2018. Sometimes I will get occasional spotting and the doctor tells me it’s post menopausal bleeding. Had to have an endometrial biopsy everything was good. I have been to so many doctors the last 3 years it’s crazy. My anxiety is so bad
Yeah I think all this stuff is defo anxiety I had the horrible beats today
3rd day but I am not sure if I am like waiting for them lol
