Palpitations and trembling

Still in my awful situation.. it’s really taking its toll on me physically as well as mentally now .. came to a breaking point yesterday.. just stared at the water and thought how easy to jump and not come up!

Sick of trembling, palpitations, loosing weight, headaches not sleeping and the general tension at home .. my new house has been put back .. it’s just an endless battle.. and one I’m not sure I’ll ever win 😔

When I had serotonin syndrome I had tremours and couldn't sleep

The drug increases serotonin

Did you end up in the hospital for your serotonin syndrome? I was under the impression that it can be an incredibly severe side effect. I hope you’re feeling better now!

No actually no one acknowledged it , it was mild serotonin syndrome that I had from taking too much GABA and then taking CBD oil both are serotogenic, but it didn't feel mild also the CBD oil made me incredibly depressed

I went to A&E a couple of times and wss dismissed bc my pupils weren't dilated enough to meet their criteria even though I.was shaking NHS don't recognise serotonin syndrome unless you are at deaths door with it

I changed doctors too bc one of them said I was trembling bc I was nervous

Yes thanks

I think with all the SSRI drugs people are on there are many unrecognised cases of mild serotonin syndrome

I eventually got rid of the serotonin dominance by taking a dopamine based antidepressant it knocked serotonin off the top spot and changed everything I didn't take it for long or stay on it it did the trick though

That's why I replied to 1973m I think her drugs are causing tremours but I could be wrong of course

Was the dopamine a different type of “antidepressant”?

It’s awesome that you responded to the original poster with your experience. It helps those of us who aren’t used to or haven’t take antidepressants previously.

Most antidepressants are serotonin based but serotonin is really a downer

Dopamine antidepressants are not dished out so often

dopamine gives you a can do attitude

You definitely will! You will!!

Try to not care about these symptoms, your nerves are just overworked... I am going through the same problem and symptoms. I would recommend Claire Weekes' book called "Hope and Help for Your Nerves". I am reading it now, and I already see the change on how I perceive these symptoms and my inner fears.

Take care and you will prevail!!!

xx

I am on a positive trend right now. A few weeks ago I was much worse. Some ideas from her book really helped me to look at some things fro different angles. It has helped me with smaller triggers already.
