I’m so upset I noticed I haven’t been worried about my heart a lot lately and now I’m getting chest pains and back pains right where my heart is and now I’m scared and my grandma never takes me serious I also read a post about some lady and her heart so now I think it will happen to me and I’m scared the pain won’t stop and my posture makes it worse

Hello :-)

Look back in your posts about all the things you have worried about and how many of them have happened ?

Think at a guess none and this shows us that we suffer with HA

You will always get pains here and there you admit your posture is not helping so change that so it will help , I to sit in such a strange position which I know does not help some of my aches and pains

It can be frustrating when we feel no one is listening but we listen on here your Grandma is no doubt so used to your panicking she may look like she is not listening or that she does not care but she will she knows though it will pass

We can read every Community and every post and find so many that trigger us of but that is what we have to avoid doing if we start to read something we are sensible to know it will not help so we have to learn to move on to the posts that will

People come on here to share their fears and what has happened etc so this cannot be avoided but we can avoid continuing to read them knowing we have HA :-)

I am sure when you calm down and start relaxing these sensations will go just like the other one's have in the past , tell yourself this to help calm yourself down :-)

Take Care x

Hi Zhiyah, your heart is well protected inside your rib cage.. these back and chest

pains are more likely coming from the chest wall muscles that are held extremely

tight in a pattern of fear. Posture does make a big difference. We must learn to

practice letting go to our stress. Bringing our shoulders down away from our ears

and breathe.

Wrapping a nice hot bath towel straight out of the dryer around your shoulders and

neck can help relax those tight muscles. Accept the fact that this is from your anxiety and

nothing more dire. Breathe.. With each breath tell yourself to relax. Everything is okay,

You've got this. Nothing can hurt you. You are Safe. You are Loved, You are Cared about.

I hope this help some. What you believe is what you get. Believe that you are Pain Free and

Calm :) xx

Hi there Im sorry you are experiencing frightening pains in your chest - this can be caused by Tension we tend to carry a lot of tension when anxious and sometimes we do not realise how much and this can cause tightness in chest and pains across chest I know I have experienced this and panic attacks also so I sympathise with you. I would suggest u try to do some relaxing deep slow breathing exercises there are a lot online to try. It takes practise to get used to it & do it right but I have found that it really helps me to relax it is definately worth trying like I say takes some practise so u have to stick with it and persevere. Good luck
