Does anyone else worry more when they're looking forward to something?

I have a second date this Saturday with a guy I really like. All week I've been worrying about a facial rash I had. Now that the rash is pretty much gone I feel like my throat is slightly sore and my chest is a little tight. I've had this before and it's usually acid reflux/heartburn, but now I'm worrying that I'm getting a cold/flu/the coronavirus. I had a negative COVID test last week but of course I'm thinking I could have gotten it from the test facility. When will this end? How do I stop this endless worrying over even a small amount of discomfort? Health anxiety is awful.
