It is not nice at all especially when you wake up having one , I do what I do the same though in the day breath my way trough it till it passes but you are not on your own having this happen

Yes I do, or I’ll doze off and wake up having one. Also sometimes I’ll randomly wake up in the middle of the night having one. Takes me hours to go back to sleep after, I keep thinking I’m gonna die

My wife , emergency nurse, would tell me over & over its not real just my mind playing tricks . I read the book ,'At Last a Life ,...by Paul David. It mentioned all the symptons & worries anxiety brings with it. It was an eyeopener & helped me to see what anxiety really is.

I have recommended this little book many times because it put me firmly on the road to recovery. I had a panic like episode a couple of nights ago, woke up feeling panicky & trying to catch my breath. Picked out my 'little book ' from my nightstand, read a few pages, fell asleep & had a wonderful deep sleep !!
