All these different symptoms

Anyone ever feel like they have so much pressure built behind there nose and cheeks? I was thinking allergies at first but I take my daily allergy meds. I’m not sure if it’s built up tension or just tense muscle or what. It’s like so much pressure will build up then release then build up again. Please tell me I’m not crazy and that others feel this too. I’ve also been getting these weird zappy pains in my head, sharp stabby not sure what those are anyone else?

This could possibly be a sinus infection. I had a lot of pressure in my face and ignored it until I started having bad pain in my ears. I went to the doctor and found out I had a sinus infection and inner/outer ear infections in both ears (needless to say I was miserable). That would be my best guess.

I swear we have so much in common! I'm having the exact same thing happened to me on the right side of my face. it's kind of around my eye on my cheek bone down the side of my face and kinda to my ear feels like pressure or something or like it's heavy I don't know. I actually just left the ER last night because I was worried about that I was having a stroke! They did a cat-scan and a MRI which also kind of alleviated some of the stress about ALS as everything was normal! I really do truly believe that is stress! so I've just been trying to not think about it even though I'm having twitches everywhere, and relax and hopefully everything will get better! Try to relax and I'm here if you need to talk. 😁

Anxiety can cause this or more so the tension. Of course you need to rule out your sinuses etc but usually if your nose is clear and cheeks aren’t puffy it’s due to the tension. Do some facial muscle relaxation techniques and they should help.

What kind of relaxation techniques do you recommend? I know I have TONS of tension

Just type into YouTube : Muscle relaxation techniques and it will bring up a few. It will show you how a tense muscle vs relaxed muscle feels. Good luck.

You just described some of what I feel. Mine is not sinus related at all. Saw and ENT and even tried nasal steroids prior to seeing the ENT and he said everything was fine there. Not sure what it is.. migraines, tension headache etc etc.. it scares me because I get faint with it, dizzy and I feel like I am about to be a goner.. lots of other things too.. Neuro says stress is causing it all. It’s horrible and chronic daily 24/7 nothing relieves it. I lay down a lot and use ice and heat and nothing helps but I still try it.
