Hello all, just looking for some encouragement, the last week or two have just been so bad, trying to hang in there. Dizziness, palpatations, and can't shake it off, or accept ... Can't get out of my head..

I know many here deal with the same.

Thank you for listening.

Hello. I’ve been having physical symptoms including those for almost 5 months now. I have them daily. It’s very worrisome and exhausting. I’ve been trying to just keep going on with my day the best that I can. Everything is easier said than done. Maybe just re-train yourself into realizing it’s just anxiety. Don’t fight it and just accept it. (Once again always easier said than done) For the past few months I was accepting my symptoms, but I was freaking out about them. I’ve been trying to read myself to accept my symptoms, don’t fight them away, and they usually end up passing soon enough. ❤️ Keep going! You got this!!

Timmy,

Dizziness and palpitations can certainly add to our fears and anxiety. I've dealt with them my whole life. For those issues I too have gone through all the scans and tests with no findings as the source...other than general anxiety, which can certainly trick us into all kinds of negative thoughts. Some days are better than others for sure. I've been on lexapro for about 15 year now but was still having some anxiety and dizziness issues.

I've learned a few things this year that have helped me, and hopefully might help you or someone else.

There are many reasons we can have certain symptoms. Of course the first step is to see your physician and rule out any underlying health issues or causes.

If your given a clean bill of health and still having anxiety or dizziness, you'll find most doctors like to push pills and very few discuss the link between our gut and brain. Weird I know but hear me out. Have you ever noticed a queasy stomach before dizziness, palpitations or anxiety? It turns out our gut produces a fair amount of serotonin, which helps to keep our anxiety in-check. I'm not a healthy eater by any means, but I tried a couple of experiments that seems to be helping me, maybe consider these:

For mood and anxiety, I tried eating a probiotic yogurt every day, along with a lower dose vitamin D. It took a few days but wow! I've found that my anxiety and panic attacks have reduced significantly. Is it because I'm now getting sufficient serotonin or is it the Vitamin D that promotes mood? I don't know for certain but they seems to be helping. I used to have panic attacks frequently, but its been quite a while now. I used to have a lot of heartburn but that's subsided too. Also I MUST insist on practicing POSITIVE thoughts everyday and release the stomach stress with deep breathing exercises!

For dizziness, my physician checked me out, my ears, sinus, scans, bloodwork, you name it, couldn't find a cause. I know anxiety can cause dizziness, but this was different..it was always there even without anxiety...and getting worse! I didn't want anti-dizzy pills so I was trying EVERYTHING! I finally came across the cause and solution (for me). I bought a couple of ear-candles at a local health store for about 2 dollars each. Had a helper to do it and wow, it pulled out a ton of wax that had been building in my ear canal. My dizziness was gone shortly afterward. I wondered how my doc missed this so I took a pic and showed it to him. He said they are unable to see that far into the ear and was also surprised at the amount that came out. Nothing much else said about it.

To this day that kind of dizziness has subsided. I stopped using q-tips near my ear canal and use a candle about every 6 weeks. Its important to follow the instructions as they can be dangerous (fire, burns). I press it firm to my ear canal, dip it in water when its about 2-3" from my ear, then cut it open to see how much wax there is. Eardrops work for some people (like hydrogen peroxide, warm water, and baking soda) but not so much for me.

I have also learned salt can aggravate the tiny vessels in the ear that can contribute to some people experiencing dizziness.

I've read some of your other posts and I wish you the best of luck!

I know you can whip this and get back to feeling like a million bucks!

Ty

Thank you very much.

I've been round and round with the doctor s as well, and no real explanation so far. Was just in the ER and all the tests they did came back ok, and I know that's good, but still dizzy...

Thanks fir the encouragement.

I've been dealing with this everyday for about a year...🤷🏽‍♂️

Hi, Timmy.

I remember you too from last year - I had to make a new account and I hear you! I can tell you that this time of year gets me every time - even though I don't think it will. There's no rhyme or reason - it just does. Sending much love.💜

Hey there! And thank you so much!

Definitely this time of year doesn't help...

Was doing pretty good for awhile, ups and downs, went to a new doctor today, and frankly it's a joke, I feel 10x worse, what happened to doctors listening to what your saying???

Very discouraging ...

I hope your doing good and thanks again for replying.
