Need dizziness advice on meds

So I've been struggling with depression and anxiety for years. I've avoided taking antidepressants as I had a bad experience with Zoloft (it made me feel dizzy and sick). Dizziness/vertigo is one of my anxiety triggers and of course that's a common side effect with antidepressants. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist on Monday and I would appreciate any advice or anecdotes on any meds they've taken that didn't affect them too negatively. I figure my fellow health anxiety sufferers will notice side effects more than anyone else. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been on and off Prozac for about 7 years and I feel like it works the best. I got a little tired when I first started it but after 3 weeks, I was okay.

Dizziness and not feeling good triggers my anxiety as well but I just try to tell myself I’m okay and this medication is here to help me. Most of the time when you focus on those negative side effects we tend to make them come out more, so just remember you’ll be okay and things will get better

Okay so when you get dizzy it’s not so bad that you can’t function then? I think I can handle a little bit.

Correct! And it works better if you take it at night instead of every morning
