Just looking for some comfort, and I'll try to keep this short. Been feeling dizzy off and on pretty much every day for the last few months with headaches mixed in often and neck pain at the end of the day. With health anxiety, this means I assume it's a brain tumor. I should also say, I know many of you feel dizziness and head issues. How bad do they actually get? I feel like the ones I feel can't possibly be just anxiety.
Now, when I take a Xanax, this all almost completely resolves for the duration of the medication. I know we're not doctors, but if it were a brain tumor (which causes symptoms by pressing on brain structures), a tranquilizer that calms me wouldn't remove the symptoms of pressure, right?

Hi, I have had similar symptoms to you and I was eventually diagnosed with cluster migraine's and vertigo. I'd have a word with your GP about your concerns, as far as I'm aware brain tumours don't hurt less with medication. Hope this helps x
Exactly. When you take a tranquilizer and return to normal, it's not a tumor. You can have faith in that. I deal with everything you've mentioned here.
You have no idea the relief that brings me. Thank you, my friend! It's been a rough few weeks. Started therapy, and it's pretty hard! My brain is all anxiety all the time, and symptoms are bad!
Yes, my therapist said, "This gets worse before it gets better," and he has proven himself quite admirably! Thank goodness I'm moving into the 'better' part.
