I have severe anxiety, I have pain in my neck and shoulders, also partly because I do hair.
It makes me feel better when I read other posts because I see that I'm not alone also that it's not something more severe.. mainly I have health anxiety so any little symptom may seem like something else. I hate the swaying feeling or feeling that I'm going to pass out. I think about it so much that sometimes I cause anxiety right away in the morning. Also I wake up at night with stomach aches and sometimes a pain under my rib..

I too get neck and shoulder pain and a nervous tummy that can wake me up sometimes. The pain is muscle tension, from being on edge all the time I suppose, but being a hair dresser, is that what you mean? With you arms raised all day is going to make it worse, aggivate it.
Also our stomachs are very reactive to stress, some might say the heart of it, churning stomach, aches and dashing to the loo.
I'm saying all this calmly, but I too suffer from all these things. Hope it helps you to know that a lot of people on here do.
Thank you! It definitely helps to know that other people suffer with the same things that way we can move forward and try and get through it. It just sucks that the fear is still in the back your mind that something more is wrong with you..
The physical symptoms of anxiety are the worst! I work in an office so my neck and shoulders are always really painful. I also have terrible health anxiety and the dizziness can be crippling, it’s always nice to know we are not alone in these things. I hope you are ok x
The physical symptoms definitely are the worst I have a 19-year-old daughter who suffers The same things that I do I just look at the poor girl and think wow I did that to her.
You didn’t do that to her, you can’t blame yourself. My mum is the same way as me and so are my sisters. I don’t blame her for a second. It’s all circumstantial, it’s not about assigning blame it’s about helping each other heal x
