Finally went to my doctor

So I finally got the courage to go see my doctor about the lorazepam. He said that I was withdrawing from alprazolam but that I also had a very bad reaction to lorazepam. Plus severe anxiety. He switched me immediately back to xanax. He was so kind and understanding! I got them filled and took one as soon as I got back in the car (my sister took me) and when I got home 20 minutes later, all symptoms were gone. I fell asleep and slept hard for over 5 hours. Now I'm very exhausted (probably from not sleeping for about 2 weeks) and my back hurts terribly from my shoulders to the back of my knees. Thank you all for your support while I was going through that hellish experience. Now maybe I can start helping others! ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much Agora. I plan on doing that. My body is worn out. I did have some anxiety yesterday, but it went away without taking a pill. I wish I could get some cognitive behavioral therapy but it wouldn't do any good. It's genetic. We lack a chemical in our brain and I can't take anti-depressants. I feel so bad for anybody with this evil disorder.

Glad you are sorted. Evidently you are not in the UK as those drugs you mentioned are absolutely taboo here and one has to buy them on the internet.

Elaine...no I'm in the States. I lived in Germany for 2 years and they have no restrictions on any narcotics. And when we went to Switzerland I saw them on the shelf at a pharmacy! Why won't they give them in the UK? How are people supposed to live with anxiety/panic?
