Can anxiety cause speech problems

Hi, I have experienced issues with my speech when feeling anxious in the past. For example, I know what I want to say in my head but struggle to physically say it. It can be very frustrating and scary at times. I’ve found that making ‘noises’ has helped as it reminds me that I am able to talk it’s just my anxiety that’s trying to stop me.
