Ok, so I was feeling fine and so productive on day 5 of no Zoloft. Omg out of nowhere, I got wicked stressed out and had depersonalization, difficulty focusing, a crazy wave of anxiety. I never had this before stupid Zoloft. How long til this horrible crap is out of my system??? It’s miserable

Another update - having anxiety :(
I haven't tapered off yet - but I did have to decrease recently and it caused some disruptions. Just keep telling yourself "this is a chemical adjustment. It is not dangerous."
Thank you!!!
What types of side effects did you get when decreasing? Are you feeling ok now?
Unicorn, JAYnLA is correct in that this is a chemical adjustment.
Now that your brain is no longer getting it's fix from Zoloft, it needs
to find it's own way of producing the chemical naturally. The symptoms
will become less and less. Know that this isn't dangerous as well as the
fact that you are going in the right direction. It's going to be okay. xx
You’re right. Thank you sooooo much 💕
Also important, whatever you are feeling, allow yourself to feel it. Struggling with it, trying to make the feeling go away, just puts fuel on the fire. Relax and float and accept whatever you are feeling. This trains your mind to stop reacting to anxious feelings with more fear. It's a gradual process but it's the road to complete recovery.
You’re right.. I got so much better at floating throughout this, so I’m trying to repeat it today. You’re amazing. Thanks so much for your posts and your link ❤️
