I’ve been on Lofepramine for about three weeks and seem to have constant heart palpitations. Has anyone been on this medication and experience the same.

I've been on these for a few years now with no problems, it is always difficult the first few weeks of taking new meds, suggest you continue for a few more weeks as it can take this for the meds to kick in, but if you are still worried or still have the palpitations then have a word with your GP to at the very least put your mind at rest

Hi Doggie 123-UK. Thanks for getting back to me. I have mentioned it to my doctor, as she said could be a number of different reasons. I didn’t get palpitations on Amitriptyline but found the sedative effect too much. Not really too worried just find it irritating and hoping it won’t last for to long. Guess i’ll Just have to be patient 🙂. Again thanks for your advise.
