Hi guys, Its been a while since i've posted on here. Anxiety has been under control untill maybe last few months i've noticed been getting few more panic attacks then id like. Along with that ive also been getting aura migraines (flashes in vision). They freak me out when its happening but usually only lasts about 20 min or so where I lose part of my vision and see lightening flashes. Does anyone else suffer from these?

Aura migraine with no pain
Hello
I suffer with migraines really bad and get them more often than I would like
I have aura migraines but usually the flashing lights last about 30 mins and then an hour or so I start with the headache
I have been known now and again to just have the aura without a headache but not very often but has happened
If they are getting troublesome the best people to check your eyes and give you peace of mind are actually the opticians they are better than a Doctor when it comes to your eyes and headaches so may be worth booking an eye test ?
Anxiety and stress are well known as you might have guessed causing migraines to
Take Care x
I had an Ocular migraine about a month ago. I was actually seeing prysims or kelidescopes in my vision in both eyes. No pain but it completely freaked me out. Like you it lasted about 20 minutes.
Have no idea if anxiety is connected (I was sleep deprived going on my 3rd night) but losing my sight like that was one of the strangest things I've experienced.
Thank you for the replies. I had seen my eye doctor last month she said all was fine. Not in any different meds that I could think of that would cause it. I do work on a computer 40 hrs or more a week maybe that's just wasting my vision away also.
Working on the computer that many hours a week could have something to do with it , try and take regular breaks as I am sure you do
If you have seen your eye Doctor then that is reassuring it is nothing sinister , hopefully it won't happen again or not often at least x
Had them ever since my ablation for AFib. Never had them before until that and have suffered from panic/anxiety for 30 years off and on. They are weird aren't they?! Kinda scary the first time I had one!
