Hi, everyone let me just start by saying i am fairly new to anxiety. Im going on 7 months with a feeling of heaviness in the head, dizziness, light headed as if im going to pass out. I have tremmors through out my body at night as im trying to sleep. And then every morning these symptoms repeats itself all over again. Well it started 7 months ago, i started going to the gym and walking and taking up some weight lifting but gradually starting with light weights. Then after a week in the gym i started feeling as if i was getting pulled to one side and just being off balance. Following this feeling a heaviness in my head came on, and felt like i wanted to just put my head down and close my eyes, also slightly dizzy and light headed. Then nights started with tremmors occasionally before i go to sleep. I had an mri, mra, ct scan, all came out normal with a sinus blockage on top of my forehead, neurologist referred me to an ent , thinking my sinus might be the cause. So i seen ent he said i have chronic sinusitus and a crooked nasal. So i went through a surgery hoping this was the answer, i just had this surgery literally two weeks ago, but this feeling still remains. So ent doctor said its not your sinus he guessed. I do have so migraine or headache feeling around my head as we speak time to time so idk...i did and do have palpitations. And though i feel dizzy and light headed 24/7 i must say i find that if im in a situation or driving and at a red light or in a dark room watching a show on tv, it comes on even worst like im realy going to pass out...anyways im reaching out to psychologist for help i realy do think at this point i need to seek help. Its effecting my everyday life style and i wont bow down to anxiety im going to fight this until i figure it out...god is good god is great and god is with me on this, and i know he wont let me down for as long as i dont let him down myself..so same for you all ...i think before we seek for the answer cure we shall ask the lord to guide us to the cure...

I have faith in god and i believe thats what keeps me fighting ....

So did anyone find a better way to cope with all this. Certain meds , and do you think physiologist will make a huge progression.. just want some advice..

Thank you all i will pray for you and may god bless you...

Oh and by the way i am not the every sunday church goer or what not but the reason why i spoke so much about god is because we should always put him first before we put oursrlves.. because with in him and through him there is us..

I’m 31.and have two small children so it’s really tough.

I’ve had anxiety my whole life but this started a year ago.

Had so many tests and seen so many doctors and they say anxiety.they also say that it’s got worse because it’s all I think about.I’m chasing up therapy at the moment in the hope it may help.

But this constant head feeling is horrible and so debilitating.it really is.there are so many people on this site with the same symptoms so that can be reassuring.

I too have been going through some pretty bad anxiety. I’ve researched and watched you tube videos- think the guys name is Bloch- very good help. Also saw a counselor who taught me relaxation techniques, which have helped. It hurts to get out there and do things but for me it seems to be the answer to a lot of my anxiety. Get outside, the indoors can be rough at times.

Hope this helps

Ya im just waiting for call to scedule a screening to see a counselor or what not, but for sure i know when im indoors i tend to get it worst as well as stress out more then when im outdoors its more relaxing. Its like im less nervous ....im afraid to go to mental health for therapy and be given meds thatll make me zombie lol....but i realy do need to reach out

You will be relieved. I want to get to someone who can prescribe something, they take a long time to get into.

The counselor I’m seeing can’t prescribe anything.

I know meds are not the answer, but they can really help you through the tough times.

My GP took me off Zoloft which was not for me. I just started cymbalta which I can’t say if it’s working or not.

There are some good quick meds that will help quick and can you down.

Heck it got so bad for me I went to the ER and got something quick that helped out tremendously

I had those same problems! I keep trying to tell myself it’s all in my head and what not but it’s hard. I have health anxiety and I always think every little thing that happens to me I’m gonna die or have a heart attack. I have palpitations that’s I feel in my neck when I get stressed or heck, even watching a movie that has tense scenes will cause it! I get light headed quite a bit, as well. It’s a weird feeling

Anything you seek to help you is a start at getting rid or atleast lowering the levels of anxiety....i haven't seeked help yet but made an apoinmtment the other day but they havent got back to me yet..i myself is going to tackle this down somehow ..i have three children all below 8 years old..

These are the times they need me most..

I hear ya, anxiety dont play games its real and it takes a heavy toll.. even write now as i type i have palpitations and heavy breathing with my heavy feeling head and some sort of moderate light migraine here and there...im going to seek help at mental health to see a physiologist just to better understand how to cope and maybe get on some meds temporary even if its for years to help me get through life...one day at a time

in reply to Godisthecur

Seeking help first is always good! I first went to one doctor and they didn’t seem to really care or was interested, they just wanted my money type deal then I heard of this other doctor and I have been going to him. He seems so interested and he tells me all about the stuff he’s prescribed me and why he is doing it! And every time I go in he always asks me how I’m doing, and he engages in conversation. I love it! I temporarily put on Lexapro and it helped me. I’ve just found other ways that work best for me! I watch YouTube videos (AFV or something funny), I have a diffuser with calming smells, stuff like that..... and watching Planet Earth helps too. Lol! Here lately my job has caused me to have a headache with chest pains from all the stress

Nice that your finding ways to cope with all these symptoms, as for me im going in tomorrow to mental health for screening as i was reffered by my neurologist. It sucks for me iv been out of work for almost a month and half on sick leave due to my sinus surgery. Im worried because my occupation as a school bus driver under the government , i might not be able to resume my position and might have to transfer within the government to another agency. So as of now im currently seeking in medical answers and treatments to see what they can do for me and that maybe i can return to feeling like iv did before. If nothing turns out and that i might have to deal with this feeling i have no other choice but to find a department that i can work in..it realy sucks but i defitnely dont want to jeopardise the kids on the bus ..anyways ill let u know how it goes tomorrow on my check in and see what type of treatment theyll put me in..in the mean time stay strong
