Propranolol

Hi has anyine taken propranolol for anxiety and ectopic/skipped beats with any success? I have just started on 10mg ,took one first time last night and feel slightly nauseous this morning. But my main worry is the skiped beats which the Drs say are due to anxiety. I just don't get how they are always there i fear I will never be free from them x

I have skipped beats and racing heart every day as well as other awful symptoms.i take propranolol three times a day and I do find it slows my heart down in the day but not so much at night.

But I do need to up my dose so maybe that will help.

Did you have any side effects when you started them ? X

I had dry tired eyes but that’s about it I think.ive been on and off them for about 10 years though now and they have helped me through some very dark times.

Skipped heart beats are horrible.ive had them about 12 years and I’ve learnt that the more you think of them the worse they are.but it’s so hard not to think of them!

Maybe speak to your doctor and see what they say.were you nervous about taking the medication?

Yes I was but I still feel headachy and nauseous i just dont feel like I want to take another one c

My dr said take them as and when anxiety is bad not regularly. I only took one last night and am very nauseous today. I seem to be very sensitive to medications. I just want these skipped beats to stop x
