More health anxiety

I recently wrote that I was having extreme dizziness and some chest pain. I went to the ER with those symptoms and they gave me an EKG, 2 chest xrays, and blood tests. They said everything seemed fine. But they never told me what an actual cause could be. Today I had a headache. I was doing okay until I was sitting in a restaurant and all of a sudden it felt like I left reality? And like the blood just rushed to my head and my heart started thumping so hard I just had to get up and leave. It didn't feel like an anxiety attack. I cant explain it the way I'd like to. It was probably the scariest thing I've ever experienced. Now I have some issues that scare me even more about this. For as long as I can remember I've had this anxious "tick" where I pick at my scalp on my left side. I've done it so much it gets sore and if I feel closely theres almost a dent? I'm scared I've done some serious damage to myself which gives me even more anxiety. I'm scared that this is going to alter my ability to do normal things, like drive. I'm sorry for sounding like a crazy person but I like this website because I can Express this stuff and get advice and opinions without necessarily being judged. I greatly appreciate it...

Hi, you are being super sensitive to bodily sensations and causing yourself panic attacks. I’ve done the same thing. I’ve felt a strange wobble in my head or a dissociative feeling and then my adrenaline shot up and make my heart thump and light headed. It’s all panic.

Exactly. And Kenny - you aren't 'crazy'. You have an anxiety issue and you're interested in coping and healing or you wouldn't be reaching out here. I'm glad you're with us, even though what we all have in common is a pain in the ass.

I have central chest ache/heaviness and like you all checks (ecg, bloods, temperature, blood pressure, chest X-ray) have returned normal. Had 3 checks over last week. The quieter I’m sat / lying down the better I am. When I get up my body feels heavy and dizzy. This panics me and I feel worse. Not sure if this is anxiety related or a virus. I’ve googled the a-z if what it can be. I don’t think anyone can underestimate the effects of anxiety. It happens to anyone and I really do relate to what you’re experiencing. It is terrifying and hard to explain. We just seem to continually seek the reasons why it’s happening which again focuses our mind on our symptoms. Be reassured by your test results. I really hope you feel better soon.
