ANXIETY ATTACK PLS HELP!
Sit up straight, open palms over your knees, tilt head back, close your eyes and TRY to control your breathing. Deep, deep breaths thru your nose (4 sec rule) and slow exhale thru mouth. Once you do that 3 or 4 times, think of YOUR happy place and imagine yourself there. You're not alone. Feel better soon.
Thank you air. I’m kinda coming down from it but you know... I’ve always been told to sit up but I’m comfortable laying down- my back against something. It’s like my breath was running away from me and I have to do hand movements to remind me to breathe. What do you do when it happens to you?
when it would happen to me, believe it or not, I would jump up and down a couple
times. It was enough to jar my senses as well as break that cycle of shallow breathing.
Once the solar plexus relaxes, you will be able to catch a full breathe. x
Man.. I think that would trigger mines! That’s why I stay away from the gym bc I mistake out of breath from working out to hyperventilating. I’m glad you have your way of shrugging it off. It’s so scary and I always wanna cry when I get the “worse” episodes happen. =\ I just feel super alone and like no one understands me.
Oh I so understand. Nobody could possibly understand what we are experiencing.
