Hi everyone, I’ve had some weird physical symptoms for a while. It all started with a nasty sinus infection about 2 months ago. Since then my symptoms have been persistent and changing and I know I’ve been really anxious so I try to tell myself that these are anxiety symptoms but I keep freaking myself out. I always resort to the thought that I could have a terminal illness or brain tumor. My symptoms lately include:
-heavy head (feels like my neck is weak)
-pressure in head and ears
-smelling things that aren’t there (usually with congestion)
-head/neck twitches and stiffness
-weird focusing feeling in eyes
-fatigue
I’m constantly thinking about my symptoms and I’m constantly anxious about having a bad illness. I’ve seen 3 doctors and had bloodwork done. Nothing was out of the ordinary and I’ve had the physical neurological exam by 2 doctors and neither of them seemed to think I had a brain tumor. For some reason, I continue to think that it could be a tumor or something bad. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve gotten to where this is all I can think about.

I was on some antibiotics for the sinus infection for quite a while. Sometimes I feel pressure in my head or feels some congestion and worry that the sinus infection isn’t gone or that it’s never going away but I realize that my anxiety is getting the best of me.
