Hi I'm new to this, and feel a bit out of my comfort zone..

I'm a mature person and I've suffered from going bright red in the face when I talk to anyone since a teenager! I'm too embarrassed to seek help though..

Hi redcanyon and welcome to this safe site to talk about your issues

and concerns. It makes no difference at what age you are. When you

suffer with a condition that bothers you, seek the help of a professional.

There is nothing they haven't heard before. I hope you put your embarrassment

aside and see someone to help you. xx

Gosh!

I didn't actually think anyone would reply!!

Thankyou.

Hi red canyon..

I mentioned about blushing or going red often, in a therapy session some time ago..i struggled with it at school a lot and have struggled on occasions ever since..I have been diagnosed as having social anxiety . I hadn’t realised going red was one of the things on the list, my therapist also mentioned it. You are not alone therapists are aware of this..it’s such a shame to struggle with it..therapy could begin to help you..if you are in the uk you can self refer for therapy on the nhs with ‘talking therapies’ for cbt, there are various types of therapy and waiting lists..I stuck with it and it helps, I feel like knowledge is power, and we can better manage things with the knowledge gained in therapy. There’s no quick fix but gaining knowledge has helped me cope and deal with it all better...here’s the link to talking therapy havea read, see what you think..the therapists are so used to dealing with all and everything that you feel embarrassed about for sure...

Good wishes and welcome to you 🌺🌸🌺🌸 xx
