Head feels so off and can’t function today. I’m 7 months off Ativan and I’ve been in withdrawal from coming off of Ativan. My head just does not feel right at all!!!!! Couldn’t even be by family for thanksgiving today.

This is the perfect time for you to ask the doc who put you on this, what his experience of zoloft is with his patients.
Everyone is different and when something like this happens, it is always best to trust your instincts and don't over think any of this.
I'm sorry you feel this way and I am in no way a medical professional. The best thing in this case to is ask your doctor if its normal or - what I did- keep switching doctors until you find someone that fits your needs and communicates with you well. All I know is that it can take a while for any medicine to not make you feel "off".
I felt really weird for 2 weeks on Zoloft but after that it worked amazing
The side effect I experienced was a swollen tongue, as it shows how unique each of us is. After a week this was back to normal, so hopefully you will settle down very soon to what I am still on after several years. Please don't suddenly stop taking it, because I did that once and had a relapse into depression as a result! Hope you feel better very soon!!
