Anesthetic anxiety

Hi all - new here! I am in my late 40’s and I had three surgeries 2.5 years ago due to cancer. After the first surgery I developed extreme terror and it only got worse with each surgery. It lasted almost two years. I saw my GP, several counselors, a psychiatric, a holistic MD, tried several antidepressants and anti anxiety meds, tried massage, acupuncture, meditation, etc, etc. I had a constant feeling of terror even though I was medically fine and had a great life. I have always dealt with anxiety but nothing like this. I am thinking it had something to due with the anesthetic but of course the doctors all think it was general anxiety. Any with anything similar???? Thanks in advance🙂
