Winded easy with Anxiety Disorder

Does anyone find themselves out of breath and with an accelerated heart rate from doing little to nothing active.

I’m packing to go back to college and my heart is faster and I’m out of breath.

treyjeff, once again you continue to talk about symptoms rather than overcoming the cause.

For the record, yes we have all felt breathless and a fast heartbeat as a symptom of anxiety disorder at some time. All of us.

May I respectfully point out that you could go on listing your symptoms here for years and it will not bring about your recovery.

Your listing of symptoms has established that they are caused by anxiety not organic illness. Your next task is to look for a method of overcoming the cause of these symptoms. No progress until you start that process.

I think you will find the answer in many of the previous postings here and replies to your own postings. I firmly believe that you will recover and wish you early success in your search.

Also, remember that you may be stressing over going back to school. Don’t worry about an accelerated heart rate, it’s normal when you’re under such stress as well as straining yourself while packing!

Just take deep breaths and try your best to take it one step at a time - or rather ONE BOX AT A TIME!😬

Yes all the time

Yes, I have had that. Possibly due to tension in my chest muscles. It can be hard to breath deeply when stressed, and you can end up breathing fast and shallow, and either not getting enough oxygen or hyperventilating. Why not try some relaxation exercises to loosen those muscles?
