So as the title says I’v got a new heart disease symptom. It’s pain in my upper right arm this time. I’m used to all the other symptoms, chest, left arm, jaw, neck pain etc but this is new so I’m extra freaking out. I still freak out with all the other symptoms I’m used to having but this new symptom has sent me into a tail spin, I’m so scared. I really, really want to google it and hope I get reassurance rather than dread (doubtful) but I’m trying to stop myself. Anybody know what it could be? It’s just an on and off sharp pain in the one spot at the muscle part of right arm???

New symptom help don’t want to google
I get pains ALL OVER. Usually “heart related” pains. Even though my heart is “fine”. Anxiety pain can show up anywhere.. and I’ve heard it can even be in your mind. Like if I learn of a new heart symptom, upper back pain for instance, in the next couple of days I notice I start having that pain and then I’m convinced I’m having a heart attack! I think you are OK... but if you ever need a piece of mind or really think it’s somethinf serious visit the doctor or head to the ER.
All those pains and you assume that its heart disease...... Why?
has a doctor checked you out?
Basically just because there is a history of heart disease on both sides of my family! I haven’t had major checks in about 2 years, back then I had 24 holter and stress test, both were fine. I’v had a good few ekg’s since and they were all normal. I also survived a pregnancy and birth over them two years but my anxiety is still heart related. I have normal bp but cholesterol is a bit raised.
Look into muscle problems, particularly in the neck, strained neck muscles can cause pain and discomfort in all the places you have mentioned. Ask a doctor about it and see how it goes. It could be down to bad posture or strain from using phones etc. Its pretty common these days.
How old are you?
I’m 36!
I have upper arm pains all the time, along with all the heart related pains. I had one in my upper back one day that sent me into a panic, but I'm still here so apparently it was nothing. it's probably tension/lifting kids etc.
