Due to anxiety, I can't eat as much as I used to. When I distract myself and relax, my appetite comes back and I can eat normally. Only issue is that sometimes I can't simply distract myself all the time, and so when I don't get a decent amount of daily calories, I wake up nauseus and with the urge to throw up. I also feel my stomach grumbling a lot in the morning. Anyone else have these symptoms, and any advice?

Loss of appetite and pain in stomach?
Just threw up after trying to eat a banana lol.
Hello. Sorry to hear you are going through such a hard time. I can so identify with this. It took me many months before I had the confidence to eat without suffering nausea and cramping. I still am not managing to sit down at a table to eat, but at one stage I had to walk around to distract myself.
IBS made it so difficult to find things I could eat but as soon as I found something I could eat, it was great. I also drank plenty of milk or soup when I couldn't face food until one day I actually wanted to eat. Little and often is the best. I also found harder foods with a stronger flavour stopped the fetching with the blander ones.
Good luck and try and relax although that is much easier said than done. I lost a lot of weight with my lost calories and am trying not to stress about my shrinking frame.
