Yes Lucy...I had this a while ago, got scared and went to Doctor. He diagnosed anxiety and indigestion. Best think is to relax and just forget about it. You're fine
Hi LucyJane. That 'fluttery' feeling is a classic symptom of anxiety. Another is one where you feel that you can't take a full 'deep' breath. Probably nothing to worry about, but if you have any pain or are really concerned see your GP or Practice Nurse. Maybe see your GP anyway if you have symptoms of anxiety. Just my thoughts as I am not a health professional but have had similar symptoms myself.
Yes, I've had the fluttering and my heart felt like it stopped. I decided to take my pulse & it was also stopping & irregular. It was when I was anxious & in stress. Sometime I feel faint when the flutter begins. Then it goes back to normal. My Mom took me to a dr. when I was 9 because I had it then. He said you're just nervous. Hope this helps.
Hi Lucy.
Absolutely! I get this a lot. I have learned to cough to clear my chest and it seems to settle it. But usually an anxiety thing for sure.
