Sinking feeling in the chest

Hey..I was just wondering if anyone else has this? I get racing heartbeats quite alot and have learnt not to panic over them but the last few weeks I have been getting this really strange feeling in my chest as if my heart is slowing or if it's about to stop its scares me so much n then I panic and then end up going dizzy etc.... im trying not to panic over it but it's a horrible feeling 😔

Wow I get this same thing! It’s the most scary feeling I’ve ever had. I’ve left work several times because of it and as I’m heading to the hospital I decide to just go home because it stops. It makes me think it’s anxiety related. I don’t want to go to the hospital because I look like an idiot if nothing is wrong. Terrible feeling all around… I wish I knew exactly what it was though.

I can never tell if it is my chest/heart or if it is my upper stomach. It’s somewhere around there but I never know where it’s coming from.

I have the same thing and just had tests done , results aerial fibulation and now going on blood thinners ! Get yourself checked out x

AF symptoms say a fast racing heart? That happens to me from time to time also but I’ll mainly only wake up in the middle of the night with that going on. This is more like a very strange feeling of long skipped beats or something. If hers is the same as mine at least. It’s the weirdest feeling I’ve ever had and definitely gives you a feeling of doom and like it’s about to stop beating. It’s happened to me a few times a month over the last couple years but one episode went on for 5-10 minutes recently.

sounds like it could be merely a harmless outpouring of a nervous imbalance distressing but not dangerous
