Party last night

I partied last night and drank way too much almost to blackout level. I’ve been drinking more because I can’t sleep well and my anxiety gets bad when I can’t sleep. Does anyone else self medicate on occasion with alcohol to sleep? And how can I get to the point where I’m not scared to sleep without it? I’m not an alcoholic but if I don’t have some sort of buzz before bed I can’t sleep because I have sleep dread and nightmares.

Lola Nicole, lay off the sauce sweetheart. Try valerian root to sleep. also dont think about it so much. do some work, get yourself to the point where you are tired and sleep only when you feel tired.

I drink about a third of a bottle of white wine to help with sleep. Would love to stop but the usual herbal recommendations don't work for me.
