Hi Kimbo

No it is not just you , I & lots of other members will say the same I have & do get all this to & it is anxiety

When we are anxious we tend to not digest our food as well as the stomach muscles are tense & this causes upset tummies as well as indigestion

Have you been & asked your GP about this , there are meds that can help even though I find a teaspoon of Munka 10+ honey helps to settle mine even though I did used to take medication for it at one stage

Clenching the jaw again is very typical in fact as I reply to you I have just realized I am doing it & have had to make a conscious effort to relax it

Obviously the more we feel anxious the more we get these symptoms which then starts been a circle , but if you can accept your anxiety is causing this & it wont harm you then things do settle down ( even though easier said than done )

Sometimes drinking a large cool glass of milk can help with the indigestion & burning sensation

Have a word with your GP if it is becoming a problem , the peace of mind that can give you can be a huge help :-)

Love

Hi Kimbo,

Yes I just started suffering from this 6 months ago. I was scared cause I didn't know if it was something serious. It turned out to be gastritis (not a way I wanted to lose weight) however it happend every time I ate anything. I since have figured out it is my anxiety. I would seek an opinion from your GP so it can be determined what it is and maybe ease your mind. Hugs.

I have had the same problem for over 10 years, & had an endoscopy. They tested me for helycobacter, & that was negative, they said that I had gastritis. It often comes on after i eat a lot of bread, & I have ranitidine on prescription that sorts it out.

Oh sounds just like me, I've got stomach meds for excess stomach acid and this has sorted my stomach issues, anxiety causes all kind of side effects, I'm currently waiting for cbt therapy to try and help with mine. Hope it settles down
