Yeah I know the feeling, it’s worst when I go to bed I can hear it beating and also feeling muscle twitches in that area as well and always makes me feel uneasy.

Yeah I can’t sleep on my left side as I end up getting palpitations in that area too and I hate them. I always say to myself ignore it it’s fine but my brain is like worry it might be something serious.

and the cycle continues, see i get palpitations fast heart rate worry about my heart for one week, then a week later worry about my brain and then it comes back around to my heart etc.

i don't think my meds are working as well as they should be, and the therapy is only helping me manage it ever so slightly

Those heartbeats could be Ectopic heartbeats which all people get, but not all people feel it or experience it the same. Ectopic heartbeats are not dangerous but feeling them sucks.

When you feel your heart beat give thanks to God or whoever because it's a reminder you're still alive with a strong beating heart. Plenty of people with heart failure would love to have a strong beating heart.

Have you checked your pulse and blood pressure when yoy're having these episodes, my wife gets palpitations but when I check the BP and pulse rate are normal.

Do discuss it with your doctor if you haven't already for reassurance and peace of mind. But just accept feeling your heartbeat and try not to stress and obsess over it. It's when you can't hear or feel your pulse/heartbeat you should worry.
