Sick anxious and frustrated...

Hi all it’s been 7days already since I caught a cold.. I’m a little upset about it because..🤔

My worries and concerns...😕

• found out the DayQuil I took was expired..

& we have nothing else

• it’s getting cold here

The cold got my throat scratchy again

•still have that pain in the back ?

• I’m worried about my little brother

Cause he’s asthmatic and he’s also sick

•I’m worried about getting pneoniuna from this

•I’m worried about my brother getting penoumina from a cold again...

Are you sure you aren’t just suffering from seasonal allergies. Where I am, everyone is having major allergy problems this last week because the oak, mold and cedar are really high around here right now. Allergy symptoms mimic a cold in a lot of ways.

Hi. First off, don’t worry about the expired DayQuil. It won’t hurt you at all — it just isn’t as strong as usual when expired. I am battling a cold right now, and the scratchy dry throat is the worse. Gargle with Listerine and hydrogen peroxide (make sure not to swallow it.). It helps a lot! As for your brother, just make sure he takes his inhalers as prescribed. Remember it is a cold and you WILL get through this. (I have to remind myself of this all the time — anxiety likes to trick us into thinking the worse.) My prayers are with you.
