Trying hard to not panic

So I live in LA. I’m close to one of the fires. I thought it’d be a cool idea to go take pics of the fire on a hill. So I drove 30min towards the fire. Where I was very cold & VERY windy. So I started walking up the hill and got my shots. My nose was runny and my face was very cold. But when I got back to my car which was a bout 1/4 of a mile away from the hill.. i noticed I tasted blood. So i spit out the car and my spit was a little yellowish red. I panicked but i didnt wanna say anything to my friend because I didnt want them to say something to scare me more. I felt myself getting some phlegm and on the drive home the taste started going away. I got home and spit in the sink and it was normal saliva. Then I went to see my dad in his room and he said I looked pale. I googled what was happening and it was saying that the cold can irritate the mucous membranes and the cold can make your face pale bc it slows down circulation but also I get pale when i panic. But I’m over here thinking I have cancer or my lung is like bleeding lol. I feel fine. I played pool with my dad and uncle and now I’m in bed. My dad seems a little worried cause I’m pale but Im looking in the mirror and I dont look pale. Should I be worried?

You might be coming down with something. And since your panicking your anxiety might be making you very nervous. How cold was it out there?

Probably about 50 degrees but it was very dry, windy, and smokey. Im from LA, 70 degrees is cold to me lol but yeah. For the first time google isnt telling me that I have a serious disease. It’s saying it happens in cold weather. Especially exercising. I pretty much ran up a hill and I havent exercised like that in about a year. I have anxiety attacks when working out so Ive been taking it easy and going for walks and doing sit ups and push ups. I’m 18 so i know intense exercise isnt extremely important so I do what I can but I’m trying to get back into working out. I used to play softball so I can do it

No I get it cardio is probably better and very healthy for your heart . My anxiety doesn't let me work out I feel like I will catch a heart attack. But a lot of people say exercise helps anxiety

Yea where I'm at 50 is warm. I get 20 degree and under type of weather, it might just be the dry air. If you were out there a while maybe it was that dry smokey air

Yeah. Same! When my heart starts going, I think I’m having a panic attack then panic lol and yeah. I was breathing in a lot of dry air. I’ll worry if it happens often. But right now I’m good. Thank You for your input, I appreciate it

No problem at all. That's what we are on this community for, to help each other.

Dehydration, cold weather all these make you pale so do yourself a favor bundle up more than you did

Drink lots of water normal water intake should be 8 cups a day

Believe it or not but cold water/ weather makes your body work harder to keep warm which ises up more water so your deff dehydrated if anything!

The dry cold air could make you spit plhegm and a little bit og blood some people actually get nose bleeds often in winter time

Stay healthy out there!
