Can anyone relate. I'm getting bad again... pleessseee 😝

Hi guys iv e been suffering from severe anxiety. I wake up with my heart beating super fast. I also wake up with numb hands have to shake they atleast few times at no. Does anyone else get this?? How is this related to anxiety. Please help me going crazy. 😝😝

Hello there, let me just say you are not going crazy. The physical problems that you are experiencing are just a reaction to a perceived crisis that your mind has created. Our minds believe that we should be in panic mode for whatever reason and our bodies react to that threat with the increased heart rate, numbness in our extremities, blurred vision and any other number of physical reactions. It’s important to try to find a way to relax during these moments and calm ourselves to get through it.

Before going on Beta Blockers which have helped massively for my racing heart rate used to always be over 100bpm but nothing else anxiety wise 🙈.

My heart used to race all the time it still feels like it’s racing sometimes now even though I check and it’s not. I had numb hands, pins and needles, vibrating feet, muscle twitches, chest pain, headaches, dizziness, spaced out feeling, chills/shivers which is the main thing I get all the time now.

I still get all the other symptoms but they come and go.

I also get anxiety nightmares which makes sleeping hard and also the need for the toilet a lot at night, like last night I dreamt a work colleague had died and then had another bad one once I got back to sleep the nightmares are the worst and that wakes me up.

I think at night you notice stuff more as well like your heart beat and shakes.
