Are these mood swings?

I been having weird mood swings over the past several months all of a sudden I feel very hyper and excitable, talk a lot, can't sit still and lots of energy I also find it hard to sleep, then I just crash into a kind of depression and I'm crying all the time, I'm on clomipramine for ocd and anxiety and just started escitalopram for the anxiety as well. Are these mood swings or something else? These moods can last a week or longer for both and sometimes just a few hours. I'm worried about it, iv mentioned it to my doctor but she doesn't sound concerned, on a previous visit to a psychiatrist for medication advice he said he thought it sounded like cyclothymia but just said il bear it in mind what I told him for now.
