Head Pressure

When I feel like my head is going to explode it is usually due to being over-stimulated. Had trouble with that last night so I changed activities. Turned off sounds(washer/dryer,tv,etc), also did activities in a semi-dark room. Told myself I was ok and did some positive talk. Eventually I calmed down.

Absolutely agree with you EGraceA, too much stimulation can cause that feeling. You did your own way of meditating by finding that inner peace and calm. xx

EGraceA, I was taken back when you mentioned TIA that you weren't going to the ER until I read your last post that I must have missed on NES. I'm sorry I didn't know about it when responding to your headaches. Are the headaches prior to a NES? I don't know anything about that. TIAs I do. Are you saying it's the same thing?

No need to answer now. I'm sure you know what's best to do in this situation. I would like at some later date finding out more about this.

I could probably find it on YouTube. I like to understand different medical issues. Can't respond intelligently if I don't. Please take care xx

Hi Agora1!

No - NES are not the same as TIA's. TIA is similar to a mini stroke. NES is non-epileptic seizures. If google NES, you will find about 15 pages of info on it. For me, NES happens when I am: too stressed, lack of sleep, lack of food, not breathing enuf. I ended up at hospital for a tia about week and half ago. Have HH now. When I posted earlier about another tia, well, my left side is still kinda numb. kinda hard to feel anything on left side/leg/hand. will see pcp in morning...when writing with pen/paper, my thinking and writing sentences are like a 3rd grader. still hard to type on laptop. eating - what's that?! am eating out of cans vs. cooking. Can not think thru the steps in order to cook - do have food to cook thou. any ideas on how to get assistance in my apartment for cooking, housekeeping, etc? Thx for letting me know you are a former cert.... May I ask what you do now?
