I have had dizziness due to anxiety before but lately I've had random dizzy spells. I just had one that almost made me fall over. Does anyone else have these? I had a vestibular hypofunction in my ear a year ago but got physical therapy for it and was told it was back to normal....but just to be safe im getting my ears checked again but they can't get me in til the 18th. freaking out like thinking I have a brain tumor or something. Any opinions would be great...

Random Dizziness
I for one have random dizziness. I’m pretty sure it’s common among us. My understanding is anxiety raises your blood pressure, which in turn causes the dizziness and tunnel vision. Not a medical opinion but seeing a Dr is the right thing to do.
So you have dizziness like this even when you're not anxious at all?
A lot of times it triggers the anxiety. I think just because you don’t feel anxious doesn’t mean it’s not just at the surface. I can feel fine and then stand and be like whoa. Then I’m in panic mode. An ENT would be a good start.
I'll get dizzy at work just sitting at my desk everything spins and feels like i'm going to fall off my chair.
Really? That happened to me at work a couple weeks ago and I'm a nail tech so I sit at a "desk" too. Wierd... how do you handle that? I'm scared it'll happen while I'm driving or something it sends me into my shell and I just wanna go home and hide and feel like I can't do anything or go anywhere!
I just sit here and say wow you guys ever get that to the other girls I work with, (one being my sister who also has anxiety) and the other girl is on anxiety meds and she gets it often so brings me a little relief.
That's a relief to hear. I'm over here freaking out like thinking I have a tumor or some scary thing...I was just standing in my kitchen and almost fell over. Freaked out and ran to the couch lol
haa that would be me. and I get it while walking every now and then. The othe day I was outside with my neighbors and also happened, comes on out of no where here and there.
get ahead of things and start doing the exercises for the vestibular disorder before your dr's appt.
This morning I felt like I was going to walk myself right off the map (Dizzy), just had a head CT done a month ago with all normal findings.
