You mean how do you not. Is hard getting over something hence why is better to move on then to get over it. Getting over it means you wanna forget it, act like it never happened sadly that isn't quite possible but moving on from it. Making a step that says "this will not control my life, I shall overcome this. " is better.
My advice is easier said than done, too. You have to realize that the anxiety/panic feelings are only feelings and will not kill you, so... you sit on the plane and you already know your body is going to exhibit nervous symptoms, and it might panic, and you let it do it. Let it do whatever it wants. You remind yourself that the feelings are just the effect of adrenaline on your sensitized nervous system, and they can't hurt you. And that they will actually go away, in time, when you stop fearing them. If you fear the bad feelings, the fear will make them worse, but that's still ok, they still won't kill you. Your heart might race and skip beats, you might feel like you can't breathe right, you might feel dizzy, & feel desperate and picture yourself fainting, you might feel so bad, you think all these things will kill you, but they won't. It's ok. Say, "so what if I feel this way." So, as long as you are prepared to accept the feelings for what they are, you can fly safely as much as you want. 😊
I have felt all the things you have mentioned several times I guess I just need to accept that they are just feelings but it's still so scary I really appreciate your advice and you hit things bang on with how it feels I will try my best to practice accepting the feelings as they come and work on it each and every time I feel panic or anxiery I ended up at the hospital 3 or 4 times thinking I was having a heart attack when it was actually panic attack but I guess the symptoms are the same so how does one know what is going on when it comes. Have you had the same physical symptoms as you mentioned?
