L theanine serene anyone?: Has anyone tried... - Anxiety Support
L theanine serene anyone?
Yes it is
Ive never heard of it. What's it for? I have started taking a b complex and ashwaganda too.
Ive heard about valerian. Just scared to take it becauSe it can make benzo withdrawal worse so I have always been scared to take it lol
I was on clonazepam. I came off of them in the hospital last August. And I'm still suffering. Wasn't worth it to me.
That's what I am trying to do now. B complex is important I do know that. Also blood work to see if you're lacking in any vitamins and get your hormone levels checked. I have started taking b complex and ashwaganda also. Took the l theanine last evening and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Going to take it again today to see if it may have caused a headache and restlessness last night.
I went to my pcp. She did have to send me to an endocrinologist for hormone test tho.
No.. They checked that too. I just have panic disorder. And a vitamin d deficiency
Possibly! Id be mad if after all these years of suffering I could have just taken the vitamin and been ok lol
No. They just told me to go buy some
I took it one day and and it felt like I took a Xanax.
L-Thianine is a substance found it Green Tea which, it is claimed, counteracts excess cortisol in the body which can cause anxiety. Cortisol isa fight or flight hormone and our bodies seem to think we need a boost of it at 8 a.m. As we don't do fight or flight much any more the cortisol just causes anxiety and is the reason many people wake up feeling anxiety and/or depression first thing in the morning.
There are about 8mg of L-Thianine in a mug of brewed Green Tea, I have also taken Green Tea tablets with 20mg of L-Thianine and tablets that contain 200mg of L-Thianine.
As far as I'm concerned the Green Tea tablets and 200mg L-Thianine tablets didn't do any thing for me whereas the mug of Green Tea made using teabags does help to disperse early morning anxiety.
You can get Green Tea-bags from any supermarket
I've taken a million and one supplements to ease me. I used to be perfectly stable with no issues of depression or anxiety at all and then one night , bang. I went from calm and happy one day to suicidal with panic disorder the next and after taking everything I could from valerian to CBD I would say the only one that had any long term positive affect was and is Magnesium glycinate.
It calms the nervous system, regulates blood pressure, blood glucose, thins the blood and aids cardiovascular health and 300 + other processes in the body but most of all it lifts me up and stops me getting anxious. I'm starting after a year of supplementing my diet with it slowly getting back to the old me, thankfully. What I mean by that is I'm not anxious and I'm not worried about getting anxious and think less negatively.
