Hi Kelfah,
Anxiety and depression seem to go hand in hand. You might have one or the other as your diagnosis but have the other as a secondary concern. It's important to let your doctor's know about the other symptoms so that they too can be treated.
Each day is like a gamble, 50% at best, better or worse than the day before.
Have you put together a mental health tool kit for the blah days. Tools in the kit could be things that take your mind of something, activities like puzzles or colouring or music or exercise or walking the dog. The tool kit can be a cardboard box with reminders of these things in it or a chart on the fridge. Putting the kit items in the memory doesn't work so well when on a downer. It's sometimes hard to recall what they are
Hello! I'm new here too, I have GAD as well as panic disorder. I can definitely relate to your days of just depression, without much or any anxiety at all. I personally feel that anxiety and depression go hand in hand very often. As different as they seem on the surface, there are a lot of similar symptoms, and many people have both without realizing it or without both being diagnosed.
