Hello. So what did your doctor say when you contacted him. I looked at your past posts, but you don't mention how long you have been on your medication. It can take a few days or much longer for the chemistry of the medication and your body's chemistry to adjust to one another.

And depression often seems like the flip side of the anxiety coin.

Yes, it is scary at times, and am so sorry you're going through this now. Concentrate on small things you have control over....and for short periods of time..15 minutes? Read a little, walk a little, eat a little, catch something light on TV, wash a dish or two....sometimes just keeping busy can get you through a bad spell. I think sometimes people are curious about the pattern in the carpeting in our house....it's from my walking during the night when I could not sleep. Start a journal and write how you are feeling and when.

You're not alone, and many of us have experienced what you are feeling. We're here.

Just be careful about what advise you take and don't go on google. :)

Hi Jmerrick22,

I had a similar reaction to Zoloft. Except I also felt sick. It ended up escalating to the point of hospitalization. My advice is don't let's it get that bad. Tell a doctor as soon as possible. There are other options. It's your choice whether or not you wait it out to see if it improves, but I would advise you looking into other medication. No one should have to feel like that. Sending love and prayers from TX.
