When I am starting to fall asleep I get a feeling where my heart feels like it's stopped. It's quite a shock as I also feel like I have no air so have to take a big breath in.
I had a 24 hour ecg and my resting heart rate is normal however my heart rate goes to 38 bpm when i'm asleep.
The cardiologist said i'm ok but has anyone else experienced this?

Hi there im glad your cardiologist ran the tests for you has this put your mind at rest ? Have you to go back to your cardiologist ? Is your own doctor following up your appointment to try and put your mind at rest ?
your heart atomatically goes down when u sleep so I wouldn't worry, ive had big thuds in my heart irregular heartbeats ,arrhythmia tachycardia, fast heartrate, slow heartrate, cant breathe enough constantly, very weak pulse, heart stops, all normal most of them are rare now ive just egnore every bit of it.. if anything everything happens for a reason don't worry
