Trouble going back to sleep
Hello, yes I have had this happen. As soon as I start to drift off to sleep, I get like a jolt of adrenaline and It startles me. I have had pvcs before. I went to ER. Dr said anxiety can cause this. Also, low magnesium and potassium can cause this as well. Both of these minerals help to regulate our muscles and our heartbeat, I take 400 mg daily of magnesium glysonate. Try to eat more potassium rich foods. Do not take potassium supplements. Too much can be harmful Ask your Dr before taking anything. I just got over a week of feeling anxious, I feel for you. Our bodies are in the fight or flight mode. I find that exercise helps too. Going for a walk and also talking about it helps. I hope you get some relief. Keep me posted. 💕
Thank you
You’re welcome! Message me anytime. I know when I’m feeling the anxiety, I think I’m dying. It’s really scary. It’s good to know we are not alone. xo
Yes, I have had anxiety since 1998, when my pvcs all started, it scared me so much I thought I was dieing and I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. I watched them on the monitor showing me exactly what they were. Have had the whole workup done on my heart, it's normal. Thankfully. Anxiety is the worse, then the panic attacks, I have done everything from anxiety meds, to breathing techniques, cbt, to xanax. It is no feeling that I would give to my worst enemy... I have gone completely with out meds now for 6 years, I still have anxiety/panic and I will always, I just know now how to cope with them, weather it be sitting at the hospital and walking the grounds, breathing techniques to exercising. Goodluck and know you are not alone either. Aloha, from HI.
